On the occasion of Victory Day, as well as marking the Martyred Intellectuals’ Day, a large installation has been erected at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) premises. The installation resembles a badhyabhumi (killing field), where replicas of human bodies and limbs have been placed here and there. Along with light and sound, the installation creates an eerie ambience at night. A group of theatre activists have worked behind the installation, with the help of BSA authorities.
